Whether it's a beloved vintage deck that's been in the family for decades or a modern audiophile turntable that's lost its way, our workshop handles it all. We've been restoring record players since the 1990s — from basic servicing through to full mechanical overhauls.
We work on belt drive, direct drive and idler wheel designs across all major brands including Technics, Rega, Pro-Ject, Linn, Thorens, Dual and more. Every repair starts with a diagnosis and honest assessment of what the job actually needs.
From 1960s Garrard and BSR idler drives to current Rega and Pro-Ject models — if it spins a record, we can likely fix it. Bring it in or call ahead to describe the fault and we'll advise whether it's worth repairing before you travel.
In 2005 Philips introduced the WAC700 — a Wi-Fi Home Audio Jukebox with a built-in hard drive capable of storing up to 750 CDs and streaming wirelessly to satellite stations around the home. A genuinely unique product, and one that many owners still treasure today.
R&M have been official repairers for the full Streamium range since 2010 and are still successfully restoring them. We source hard-to-find spare parts and return units to full working order — reconnecting owners with years of carefully stored music.
No other repairer in the region has our depth of experience with the Streamium range. We hold stock of hard-to-find spare parts and have restored hundreds of these units since 2010 — when Philips appointed us as official repairers.

R&M Technical has been repairing home entertainment equipment from our Isleworth workshop for over 30 years. A small, experienced team — not a franchise, not a courier service.
